Make a list of what you want to do, but when you make that list, make sure to leave spaces on it for new ideas. What arises unexpectedly, and on occasion out of the blue, may be far more important than those goals you’d spent a lot more time thinking about.
The instinct for kindness is natural to all Virgos. Bizarrely, many are taught it’s weak
You are very clear about your own style, your own objectives, and your priorities, and often, you simply do what you do.
Yet there are situations where you find you have to explain a lot in detail to others. If that process of explanation goes into justifying them or even seeking their approval, then it’s important that you stop and think about whether it matters.
If you need the cooperation of certain individuals, fine, but if you are in a position where suddenly you find that you’re trying to get their approval, then it is important to take a deep breath and change the subject.
It might even be a good time to find something else pressing that you need to go and attend to. Then you can choose to spend time with that individual later.
This process of not just embracing new challenges and adventures but also celebrating them—and celebrating the chance you’re taking—is a vital one for you as a Virgo.
It is very important for you to achieve what you want in whatever area of life, whether it’s your job if you go to one, your physical well-being, your creativity, or just the quality of life. But in every case, the most important individual you can please is you, and that is something that you and you alone can make decisions about.
It is important to recognize that those around you, whether friends or family or colleagues, are all very, very different. And while you are close to some emotionally, others you aren’t, and with some, you may have fun doing things but you can’t really chat. Recognize that, and you will be much less aggravated.
As a Virgo, you can very easily analyze something and divide it into pieces, and it is true: feeling well can have to do with your body, with your mood, with your spirit. But actually, each of them is the same, because they all influence each other.
Make a list of what you want to do, but when you make that list, make sure to leave spaces on it for new ideas. What arises unexpectedly, and on occasion out of the blue, may be far more important than those goals you’d spent a lot more time thinking about.
Some disappointments are a mere nuisance. However, one you’re about to face could seem disastrous. While ordinarily, you’d respond swiftly to a situation of this nature, do some serious investigation first. Once you discover just how timely those changes are, you’ll exchange feelings of panic for relief.
Virgo: AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21
Ruler: Mercury
Symbol: The Maiden
Element: Earth
Flower: Buttercup
As a Virgo, you combine an earthy sensuality with the sharp cleverness of your ruler, Mercury. The pleasure you derive in beauty, nature, living, and eating well is genuine, yet being the sign of early fall, you have an instinctive awareness of the wise use of resources. Your flower is forget-me-not; your spice, redolent cardamom; and the mighty oak and the hazel are your trees. Your jewels have earthy colors, from topaz to sardonyx.
