Everybody needs a new challenge. If you don’t have one, it will simply appear. If, on the other hand, you set your challenge for yourself—or possibly even make a list of what you’d like to do or achieve—then you can tick them off, one by one, knowing each has been your own selection.
Instead of complaining that life is predictable, I’ll turn it into an adventure
As an Aquarius, you benefit from an inquisitive mind, a powerful imagination, and a rare sense of vision. Even more than that, you have a restless and very real interest in the world around you and in others. You will talk with others, and learn about them and what they are doing.
Yet ironically, that doesn’t necessarily trigger an interest in making changes in your own life. On the contrary, you compare what you’re doing to the activities of others, then are pleased with certain elements of your life—and this can lead to you becoming a creature of habit.
Spend time with those individuals. Yet if you also make a point of ensuring that what you’re doing isn’t merely interesting but is rewarding for you personally, you will realize that certain individuals may talk a lot and discuss interesting ideas, but these don’t in any way involve you.
As a fixed sign, born in the middle of each season of the year, you’ll happily settle into routines, often inspired by others’ interests. As a result, it doesn’t occur to you to explore, even in matters that mean a lot to you. It may be you’re unaware of what you’re missing until, suddenly, you’re longing for them. This is one of the most important journeys for you: to acknowledge and embrace your passions.
Being able to discern between individuals who are interesting and warm and those who are focused on their own missions and have no interest in yours, is one of the greatest skills you can develop. When you’ve learned to find and spend time with those who are passionate about you, then life will take on a new joy.
There are many who say that your well-being is all in your head, that it has to do with how you think about yourself. And in some cases, that’s really true. If you allow yourself to get involved in worries or dwell on anxieties, then it ’s unlikely you will feel great. The trick is to begin with loving who you are and what you are doing.
Everybody needs a new challenge. If you don’t have one, it will simply appear. If, on the other hand, you set your challenge for yourself—or possibly even make a list of what you’d like to do or achieve—then you can tick them off, one by one, knowing each has been your own selection.
Admitting that you’re wrong is no problem. However, certain individuals insist that their facts are right and you need to apologize. The problem is, they’re looking for a fight and have chosen the topic, which involves you. Say nothing. Those individuals will soon turn their attention elsewhere.
Aquarius: JANUARY 20 – FEBRUARY 18
Ruler: Uranus
Symbol: The Water Bearer
Element: Air
Flower: Orchid
One of the few human zodiac symbols, Aquarius is the water bearer, the third of the clever air signs. While ruled by Saturn for most of history, when the first planet to be discovered in modern times, Uranus, was spotted in 1781, you acquired a new, edgy ruler. Your flower is an orchid, your spice is chili, and your tree is all those bearing fruit. Not surprisingly, your stone is the aquamarine.
