As a Capricorn, you love a good challenge every once in a while. It’s sort of like a workout; it may actually be a physical workout or a mental workout. But the important thing is to recognize that, as rewarding as dealing with those challenges is, it is also possible to overdose on them. Enough is enough.
Doubts are best tackled swiftly; putting them off only allows them to grow
Often, when you’re figuring out what you want to do, you use your background as a foundation for it. Not only is that logical, we all learned to speak and to think in the language of our background, from family and the community we were in. Since then, of course, we will have experienced other people, other settings, and, for many, a wider world.
And each of those will have added something to what we consider to be possible, worthwhile, and appealing. Yet every once in a while, it is important to pause and consider whether what you want to do and what would bring you joy are related to what you’ve learned in your background or have an entirely different origin. And if so, then it may be time for you to begin to explore that.
Of course, as a Capricorn, you’ll tend to want to analyze this. However, simply paying attention to what you’re drawn to, what excites you, and, most of all, what brings you joy, may offer valuable, and possibly unexpected, clues.
After that, you may shift your focus to the here and now, and consider what and whose company inspires you. Then you may think about what you prefer doing anyway and, with very little thought, you’ll realize that you’re already doing something that enriches your life, and which quite possibly could become a much more important part of it.
Eventually, everybody realizes that certain individuals in their lives are there because of a relationship, because of an obligation, because they’re family and they may not bring much joy, but also they are simply there. And then you realize other individuals have something to give to you, a sort of a gift. You know which ones are the ones that are most important to trust.
There is a lot around these days about fighting the aging process. However, there is another approach to it, which is simply retraining the mind not to take the idea of “getting old” into account at all, but instead to recognize each day as the new birth that it is.

Annoying as the games others are playing may be—by making, then unmaking plans—it’s forcing you to review your thinking about various arrangements. This, in turn, will lead to unexpectedly profitable discussions about what you would like to see happen over the coming weeks and months.
Capricorn: DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 19
Ruler: Saturn
Symbol: The Goat
Element: Earth
Flower: Pansy
As a practical earth sign, whose symbol is the horned goat, you can achieve the impossible, in the form of ascending a mountain, or attaining an ambition. Being ruled by hardy Saturn, you’re discreet about your many kindnesses, but glory in your tough exterior. Your flower is the pansy; your plants are hemp and ivy; your trees, elm and yew. Your stones are symbolic of winter’s dark days—black pearls, black diamonds, and jet.
