The question to ask yourself every day is: Do you still really want that goal? In some cases, the answer will be instant and passionate and a big “Yes.” In other cases, the answer may be “I don’t know,” and those are the ones it is time to say farewell to.
Hurling myself into a goal I’m passionate about isn’t irrational, it’s life at its best
As a Capricorn, you probably have at least one list, a list of what you need to do today. However, that list may have sub-lists, things from the past that come to mind, or goals for the week or of a more long-term nature. You may not have written out that list; often it’s in your mind, and you repeat it to yourself.
That’s how Capricorns get more done that most other signs. Yet there is another kind of list—one that is playful, a fantasy list—a list that describes the things you couldn’t possibly do. Why? Because as an earthbound Capricorn, you tend to get so focused on what seems practical and realistic that you don’t even consider the possibility of something outlandish. By making two lists, you release the power of your unconscious, the part of you that is not bounded by the practicalities of being a Capricorn.
And in doing that, you open the door to varieties of ideas and exploration, of activity, and joy, and achievement, that wouldn’t otherwise have crossed your mind. True, the next step will be taking action on them.
But once you’ve embraced that fantasy part of your nature, the part that enjoys visualizing what seems “impossible,” you’ll not only find yourself taking great pleasure in it, you’ll discover some of those fantasies are far more possible than you imagined.
Everybody knows somebody who has a gift that makes life seem magical, and who are themselves an inspiration. Knowing them is one thing, but allowing them to influence your vision of what’s possible is another matter. Still, let them help you overcome the sensible side of your nature. You’ll be glad you did.
There is an irony about you as a Capricorn. If you feel unwell, you’ll tend to be tough on yourself, thinking that’s the best way to overcome either physical ailments or even if you’re feeling a bit unsettled. The fact is, a gentle touch is always far better.
The question to ask yourself every day is: Do you still really want that goal? In some cases, the answer will be instant and passionate and a big “Yes.” In other cases, the answer may be “I don’t know,” and those are the ones it is time to say farewell to.
Making minor changes in your daily routine is one thing, and while it will be disruptive, you don’t mind. But major changes are another matter and you’re not happy about these. While that is understandable, these changes influence others as well, and together you can work things out.
Capricorn: DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 19
Ruler: Saturn
Symbol: The Goat
Element: Earth

As a practical earth sign, whose symbol is the horned goat, you can achieve the impossible, in the form of ascending a mountain, or attaining an ambition. Being ruled by hardy Saturn, you’re discreet about your many kindnesses, but glory in your tough exterior. Your flower is the pansy; your plants are hemp and ivy; your trees, elm and yew. Your stones are symbolic of winter’s dark days—black pearls, black diamonds, and jet.
