Occasionally, you put off tackling a particular challenge because it doesn’t seem the right time. But often it’s because the situation or people involved are themselves challenging. Take a deep breath, stand firmly on your feet, and note that not only can you meet that challenge, you can overcome it. And better yet, think about how wonderful you’ll feel when you’ve done it.
Sometimes a fierce debate conceals a loving, and passionate, exchange
You often tend to measure your days in what might be called good vibes—that is, if something you’re doing lifts your spirits. While that’s wonderful and important, not every day brings that kind of thing.
If you measure the success on that and are disturbed if that doesn’t happen, then you may not recognize what you’ve achieved in situations that are less easy to deal with: facing people who are difficult, facing obstacles, or perhaps even having to undo something from the past that may have been difficult to contend with.
Whatever it is, the thing for you to recognize is that often the most important achievements occur in the most challenging of circumstances. This by no means indicates anything is bad. It’s just simply that it’s a big stretch for you.
As a water sign, and somebody who feels more deeply than the other signs, it’s vital that you recognize that sometimes those feelings of struggle are an indication of making an effort, kind of as if you were lifting weights to get stronger. Most of all, recognize that often after those struggles come delights: delights that simply wouldn’t have been possible had you not struggled. When you’re celebrating in that way, remember that for the next time you face similar obstacles.
Habits play a big part in your relationship with others. There’s a celebration of doing things the same way. However, that can be limiting, and it can be difficult to say no to certain habits. It may take courage, but, bizarrely, once you do, others will agree that it was wise to make a change, and you’ll all be delighted, because life isn’t just about doing things the same way. It’s about discovery.
Some habits are good. However, some are unhelpful. Also, some pleasures are appealing. In every case, it’s isn’t how much you enjoy doing something or not. It’s about examining where it fits into your life and if it brings you benefit in the here and now. If it doesn’t, it’s time to say farewell to it.
You seem to be caught in one of those tricky situations in which a particular individual will go to any length to avoid taking responsibility for something they did wrong. While this isn’t your problem, it is essential you make it clear you had absolutely nothing to do with the matter in question.
Cancer: JUNE 20 – JULY 21
Ruler: The Moon
Symbol: The Crab
Element: Water
Flower: Lily
The only sign ruled by the Moon, Cancer accents cycles —both nature’s rhythms, especially the oceans and tides, and those in our lives. The symbol, the crab, is linked to water, as are your sign’s flowers: the lily and the lotus. Your herbs are aromatic, tarragon and verbena, and your tree is the maple. Your jewel, the pearl, not only comes from the sea, it mirrors the Moon’s form.
