The term “challenge” itself implies an uphill struggle. However, life is all about cycles— day and night, up and down—and you won’t have a goal without a challenge. Bear that in mind, and when those challenges arise, you will view them as climbing that hill, at which point you’ll have an amazing view, not just of where you’ve come from but of what’s next. That isn’t so much a challenge as it is a goal realized.
A loving heart always knows what’s needed, and without a word being spoken
As a Cancerian and an intuitive water sign, you go back and forth between your practical side that thrives on security and the part that is sometimes described as superstitious. However, that has an instinct of the rhythms of nature and also a clear sense of the degree to which your own way of looking at things and thinking about circumstances can influence both how they flow and the outcome.
Of course, as you’ve discovered, it’s tricky discussing this approach with certain people, and it has even made you a bit self-conscious. Yet if you can blend the two in your activities, in your major goals, and in your everyday pursuits, then you’ll find you’re benefiting from both, and there will be a new kind of magic in your life. Even more than that, there will be a new kind of joy.
You wouldn’t think that this would have anything to do with benefiting you in practical or financial terms. Yet if you think positively about what you could do, you might be surprised. At the same time, being able to look toward those whose company can be challenging in a more positive light can alter that as well.
The trick, therefore, isn’t so much expecting magic, but turning your own mind into the tool that makes magic happen. Try that and you’ll be amazed at how much you achieve.
Particular individuals often withhold their approval until you do things their way. Sometimes that may be a game, but often it’s a manipulation as well. The most important thing is to recognize when that occurs, and to make a point of making your own decisions and doing exactly what you please.
Most people speak of changes in the way you eat, or move, or exercise, as a regimen. However, there’s another approach, and it has to do with the idea of being nice to yourself. Choose to eat in a certain way that you’ll benefit from and to move in a certain way—one that you enjoy. That is a much better approach than any regimen.
Change is in the air. While it’s clear things can’t remain as they are, you’ve been hoping you could discuss and deal with certain tricky matters gradually. But, ironically, the disruption caused by those changes will force others to acknowledge, and join you in tackling, the issues you have in mind.
Cancer: JUNE 20 – JULY 21
Ruler: The Moon
Symbol: The Crab
Element: Water
Flower: Lily
The only sign ruled by the Moon, Cancer accents cycles —both nature’s rhythms, especially the oceans and tides, and those in our lives. The symbol, the crab, is linked to water, as are your sign’s flowers: the lily and the lotus. Your herbs are aromatic, tarragon and verbena, and your tree is the maple. Your jewel, the pearl, not only comes from the sea, it mirrors the Moon’s form.
