There is a lot said about persistence and about how important it is to stick with what you want to achieve. However, it’s more important to pause and consider first whether what you want to achieve is still important to you and whether there’s something else you’d rather put first. Think about that. It may answer all your questions about how to achieve your current and future goals.
Faced with a complainer? Just listen. Often that is all they need—somebody to embrace their pain
Now and again, when you’re feeling restless or bored or just want to chat with somebody, you’ll talk about what you’re doing. In some cases, those you’re talking to will encourage you. In fact, they’ll even seem excited. But from time to time, you will also encounter somebody who’s a critic. They don’t even realize it. They think they’re being constructive and helpful. Yet you end the conversation feeling worried and perhaps even concerned that you need to rethink everything top to bottom. The most important thing to think about is who you’re trusting.
This is a big lesson for you. Refuse to allow what might be regarded as toxic thoughts to influence your thinking. Strengthen the voice in your own head, what might be called your well-being mantra, your chant, and ensure that what you’re thinking about boosts your spirits and also gives you the confidence to pursue what you have in mind—and, equally, to recognize that there are certain individuals who think in a very different way and who you must be careful about, especially when you are fostering a new plan.
It’s not that there is anything wrong with them or you, but what it is all about is making choices that give you the best possible beginning to each day of your life and to each plan you’re unfolding.
Every once in a while, it is important to consider who you trust, who you would ask for support, as well as those individuals who are interesting to know but who don’t have your best interest at heart. Recognizing that is important. But so is choosing who you spend time with, especially during those precious periods where growth is your priority.
There’s a lot of discussion about what to do to be your best, how to eat, the activities you should undertake. But there’s another secret, and it’s an important one for you. It’s what not to do—that is, how to relax. There’s a much greater art to that than there is to getting out and exercising. Give it a try. With experience, the odds are good that you’ll become an expert.

The last thing you want to do is upset anybody. Yet if you don’t raise and discuss a particular minor misunderstanding, it could swiftly turn into a major issue. True, the simple mention of this is likely to ruffle some feathers. Say nothing and the odds are good you’ll face serious dramas anyway.
Cancer: JUNE 20 – JULY 21
Ruler: The Moon
Symbol: The Crab
Element: Water
Flower: Lily
The only sign ruled by the Moon, Cancer accents cycles —both nature’s rhythms, especially the oceans and tides, and those in our lives. The symbol, the crab, is linked to water, as are your sign’s flowers: the lily and the lotus. Your herbs are aromatic, tarragon and verbena, and your tree is the maple. Your jewel, the pearl, not only comes from the sea, it mirrors the Moon’s form.
