It’s so easy to be distracted, if not drained, by goals that have made others successful, yet being able to say to them, “That’s wonderful, but I’m not interested,” can be one of the most difficult things in the world, especially for you, as a sensitive Cancerian. Practice saying no, just as you might practice something else, and you will benefit for the rest of your life.
Those who insist there’s a right way to give a compliment have missed the point entirely
For you as a July 3rd Cancerian, discussing life and plans and projects with others can be tricky. This is simply because you’ll be talking about what you want to do, and you’ll be eager to hear what others have in mind.
The difficulty is that others will want to be helpful and give you advice, except you’ll be well aware that what they think is a good idea isn’t necessarily going to suit you, and this is where tact comes in.
You may find yourself being drawn into what they’re doing, simply because they seem so determined to be helpful and you find it difficult to say no. And this is one of your challenges—to differentiate between those who think that they’re offering something wonderful, but don’t fully understand that you actually function in a very different way than they do. This is because they aren’t an intuitive water sign, and you are.
If there is any skill, it is the skill of being able to withdraw from the offers of others who think that if you do what they say, then you will thrive. The secret is, appreciate who they are and help them appreciate who you are, and that relationship will thrive. And even more than that, you will live out each day appreciating life’s joys all the more and, equally, appreciating what they brought into your life.
Some people are naturally generous, and they have an instinctive sense of what will benefit you. Others are well-meaning, but just plain selfish. They will organize your life so they will enjoy things, and that’s one of your big lessons. You’ll learn to say this single word firmly: no.
The trick with this is to be able to recognize the difference between regimens that make others happy, but which, basically, are about depriving you of life’s joys. The fact is, you can do what’s good for you, but it doesn’t need to take away from your everyday joys. It’s about making the choices that add to your life in every way.

Everybody has to deal with issues of some nature. It’s just that those you’re facing seem both more complex and more frequent than usual. This is mostly because changes, while beneficial in the long term, are chaotic. Be patient. The results will more than justify the disruption you’re currently facing.
Cancer: JUNE 20 – JULY 21
Ruler: The Moon
Symbol: The Crab
Element: Water
Flower: Lily
The only sign ruled by the Moon, Cancer accents cycles —both nature’s rhythms, especially the oceans and tides, and those in our lives. The symbol, the crab, is linked to water, as are your sign’s flowers: the lily and the lotus. Your herbs are aromatic, tarragon and verbena, and your tree is the maple. Your jewel, the pearl, not only comes from the sea, it mirrors the Moon’s form.
