If ever there were an individual who loves a challenge, it’s you. And, what’s more, you love achieving those goals. It’s just that some of them don’t mean as much to you as you thought they would, possibly long ago. It’s okay to say no, to back out, and that’s the big lesson for you today, and every day.
Always being told what to do? Irritated? Ask for a list. That’ll change everything
You don’t usually think of this, but you tend to take on more than you can realistically do. As a life enthusiast, anything difficult, new, or challenging is appealing to you. You’ll say yes first, assuming you’ll fit it into your schedule. While this means your life is rich, it can also be overwhelming, and either you don’t have time to do things properly, or you are always catching up, so you’re late for everything.
What’s more, the idea of cutting back is unappealing. However, there is another approach and that is to pause every once in a while and do something out of character, which is to ask for help. Find a friend, family member, or even a professional who’ll review your activities and calendar, and help you examine where your time and, possibly, money are going. This isn’t just about practicalities, but where you invest your deepest feelings, and whether it is wise and worth it.
This is because you are also fiercely loyal and will sometimes stick with something simply because you made a commitment, when actually what you need is someone to suggest it’s time to say farewell to that particular activity, ambition, or, indeed, relationship. And that is one of your biggest lessons in this life. It’s not to pick and choose what you do, but to know when to say farewell to certain things so you can enjoy the rest all the more.
When you make a commitment to an activity, job, or individuals, whether it is family, loved ones, or even colleagues, you feel that this connection is an important one and you do everything you can to honor it. But others must earn your loyalty. No excuses and no discussion.
Being able to enjoy life and its pleasures, and enjoy feeling and eating well, is important. However, it is easy for you to overdo things, then adopt an extremely tough regimen of diet and fitness. While balance doesn’t come naturally, it is the secret. The trick here is to learn to say no, and at the right time.

What you are facing requires you to acknowledge the need to be patient, even while others are putting the pressure on to make things happen, and fast. Yet at the moment, you are questioning the idea things should be moving more swiftly. They will. But, for now, you are better off taking it slowly.
