Often people are told to list their goals, but because you are by nature so inquisitive, things don’t always work that way. Rather, you discover one thing and then another, and then another, and then you eliminate something. While that’s one approach, it also means that you may not fit in with everyone else’s idea of listing goals and challenges.
Often the most rewarding joys are entirely within your mind
As a May 30th Gemini, one of your greatest gifts is your broad interest in the world around you, in ideas and discussions and, especially, in people. However, you don’t realize how wonderful and, indeed, unique this is until you begin to talk with somebody and realize they don’t ask questions of any variety.
For you, this process of exploring the world around you and what people do and the resulting discussions are like special vitamins that nourish you in the present. And, even more, often those ideas you hear about will add to your awareness. While you may well collect things—anything from art to photographs and books—you are also collecting memories that will enrich your life, even when you aren’t around the actual objects that you have in mind.
True, it’s very easy for you to get so involved in the process, you get overwhelmed. This is partly because, with your inquisitive mind it’s satisfying, it can expand. You may begin collection number one and then find you have collections number two, three, and four, and that’s when it can overwhelm your life.
This is where balance is so important to you, because that process of discovery is so wonderful and deepens your feelings so much, but even more important is recognizing how much being with people alone benefits you.
Whether it’s family, friends, colleagues, or neighbors, people add to your life. However, if you depend on them too much, you can forget about the pleasures of going solo. What’s most important is to find that center within yourself, which, quite simply, enjoys life: what you’re doing now. Your most important relationship? The one you have with yourself.
Health is one thing, well-being another. They’re separate, in the sense that you can feel terrific, even if you’re tired, or you really should be eating better, simply because that sense of well-being comes from living an interesting and worthwhile life. However, it is vital that you balance the two, and manage to eat well and take care of yourself. This brings a certain lightness to your day.
Often people are told to list their goals, but because you are by nature so inquisitive, things don’t always work that way. Rather, you discover one thing and then another, and then another, and then you eliminate something. While that’s one approach, it also means that you may not fit in with everyone else’s idea of listing goals and challenges.
Being interested in others is one thing. But there are one or two individuals who seem to think you’ll be there for them, whatever your other commitments. Thus, saying a firm “no” can be very difficult indeed. That is, however, exactly what you’ll have to do, or face yet more unrealistic demands.
