There’s nothing better, when you’re dealing with goals and challenges, than simply to allow things to unfold, to stand back and let destiny take over. This is more of an art than figuring out a plan. The art is to know when to step in. That may not be when you expect—and this is the greatest skill of all.
Those simple moments when the food is good and the company better are sheer joy
Every once in a while, you find yourself in a situation where things are so complicated that you know you need to do something, and you are seeking the perfect plan. But then you realize that probably nothing will work unless you simply allow things as they are to fall apart, then deal with the complaints.
This runs counter to your nature as a Virgo. Yet what it does is take you to the deepest core strength, the strongest part of your nature and allows you to let go of something that isn’t working and make space for new ideas. And to experiment and possibly to have to learn something new.
All of this is wonderful. The minute you decide it is the best option, you will feel better. And this is the hard part for you, as a Virgo. This doesn’t just have to do with activities; it may have to do with close alliances—with taking care of yourself, with a personal crisis.
Whatever the case, this process of discovering what’s new isn’t just important. It will take you on a journey of exploration beyond anything you’ve done before. Because previously, you have been in control of situations, and this is about tangling with destiny. It is about allowing destiny to become your teacher in ways that you wouldn’t have considered possible, but that you will find amazingly informative.
Normally those around you look to you to organize things. So when they see you letting things fall apart, they wonder. Actually, you may have the kind of discussion you’ve never had before with others, in which you learn how to cope with what looks like disaster, but is actually an opportunity in disguise.
There are some situations for which there is a particular remedy. In the situations you will face, the remedy has to do with a single thing: deep breaths. There is nothing more powerful when it comes to well-being.
There’s nothing better, when you’re dealing with goals and challenges, than simply to allow things to unfold, to stand back and let destiny take over. This is more of an art than figuring out a plan. The art is to know when to step in. That may not be when you expect—and this is the greatest skill of all.
If you were told you were a creature of habit, you’d probably disagree. Yet you’re battling necessary changes in elements of your daily routines. What’s more, you are aware how much of a benefit these could be. Consider the possibility that those habits are more dominant than you care to admit.
Virgo: AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21
Ruler: Mercury
Symbol: The Maiden
Element: Earth
Flower: Buttercup
As a Virgo, you combine an earthy sensuality with the sharp cleverness of your ruler, Mercury. The pleasure you derive in beauty, nature, living, and eating well is genuine, yet being the sign of early fall, you have an instinctive awareness of the wise use of resources. Your flower is forget-me-not; your spice, redolent cardamom; and the mighty oak and the hazel are your trees. Your jewels have earthy colors, from topaz to sardonyx.
